A medical doctor goes to medical school for 4 to 6 years (depending on where they have studied). A specialist is a medical doctor who studies for a further 3 to 4 years (or more) in a specialty field of their choice.
At MegaCare Specialized Polyclinic and Diagnostic Centre, we have various consultant specialists who are there on various days of the week. Our specialist doctors include a Pediatrician, an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, two General Surgeons, an Orthopedic Surgeon, an Internal Medicine doctor (Physician) and an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon.
In addition, we also have a Pediatric resident doctor, an Orthopedic Surgeon resident doctor, and an Internal Medicine resident doctor on certain days of the week.
Furthermore, we also have a counselor/psychologist available and have an eye clinic on a weekly basis that includes a team of an Optometrist and an Ophthalmologist (Eye Surgeon).
